Shooting, 4v4

Each team sets up the shooting practice as shown. The first player from each line dribbles across and shoots. The next player goes as soon as the shot is taken. After shooting, players turn and combine on a wall pass with the next shooter. This pattern repeats until all players are on the pitch and the 4v4 game starts. As the coach you might incentivise quick and decisive finishing by passing the ball to the team who finished the shooting practice first (or score the most goals) to start the game in possession. Let the players play, re-visit the shooting practice as often or as little as you wish during the game.

Coaching Points:

1.  Look for quick transition goals off of turnovers.

2.  Get all four players involved in your attack.

3.  Create space by checking away from the ball.
