Set Up:
There are 12-16 players set up on a small field, working in groups of three. During the drill, three of the groups shuttle between the cones while the fourth group (in blue) makes supporting runs. The support players have the option of wall passing with a player or faking the wall pass and using another support player to complete a three player combination. After 5-10 minutes, the supporting players switch out of the middle with another group.
Coaching Points:
1. When wall passing, a poor first pass is likely to result in a poor return pass.
2. The support player should come to the ball in order to make the first pass a short one.
3. The dribbler should accelerate after making the first pass.
Progressions:
1. Add other combinations (Heel pass, Takeover, etc.).
