Set Up:
9-12 players are set up in a small grid, working their way across the field. Player 1 begins the drill by performing a double pass combination with Player 2. After receiving, Player 1 turns and dribbles away from Player 2, and then changes the ball over to Player 3. Player 3 double passes with Player 2 and turns away, repeating the same combination. When the players reach the end of the grid, they rotate to new positions and start back across.
Coaching Points:
1. Go to the ball and shorten up the two passes in the combination.
2. Make your passes right to the player’s feet, and don’t lead him into the next defender.
3. To finish the combination, touch the ball forward into the space.
Progressions:
1. Player 2 starts with the ball and distributes it to both sides of the field.
