Set Up:
13 players are set up on a large field split into three zones. The players are divided into three teams of three along with two neutral attackers. Two teams play 3v3 plus one in the central zone, while the third team waits to rotate in. The attacking team must send a player thru into the attacking zone before shooting. After the attacking team shoots, they keep possession and attack in the other direction as a new defending team rotates in. On balls put out of play, the game is re-started by the other neutral. During play, the neutral switches out of the central zone after five minutes.
Coaching Points:
1. The team in possession should expand the field immediately after winning the ball.
2. Attackers should fade to the outside in order to make runs in behind the defenders.
3. After shooting, attack the central zone quickly, before the new defending team gets set.
Progressions:
1. A defender can follow the ball in.
