Set Up:
Six players are set up on a small field split into three zones, playing 3v3 in the central zone. The Feeder begins play with a pass in to the attacking team. To score, the attackers must first send a player into the attacking zone with a thru pass. The goalkeeper must stay on his line until the ball is played in, and only the attacker can cross over with the pass. From there, the attacker finishes on goal. On goals or balls put out of play, the Feeder re-starts play in the central zone.
Coaching Points:
1. Play in a one and two touch rhythm. Get the ball off your foot.
2. Look for an attacker making a horizontal dribbling run across the field.
3. Drift out wide, get out of the defender’s field of vision, and then make the run in behind.
Progressions:
1. Allow a defender to follow the attacker into the attacking zone.
