Set Up:
There are 12-16 players set up in the attacking third, with a 2v2 in the penalty area and players starting on the cones. To begin play, the Feeder plays the ball outside to a flank attacker. The flank attacker must dribble the ball into the penalty area before the attackers can go to goal. If the defenders win the ball, they can score in the small goals set up outside of the penalty area. The Feeder alternates service to both sides, and new players rotate from the flanks into the penalty area every five minutes.
Coaching Points:
1. Take the dribble right at the defenders and put them under pressure.
2. Change speed and direction with the dribble in order to beat the defender 1v1.
3. Look for 2v1 combinations (overlap, takeover, wall pass) in the penalty area.
Progressions:
1. Add a defender, and include both flank players to create a 4v3.
