Set Up:
There are 12-15 players set up in the attacking third, playing 2v2 with lines starting at the cones. The Feeder begins play with a driven pass to the deepest defender (in blue), and play continues from there. The defenders try to score in either of the two small goals set up outside of the penalty area. The attackers try to win the ball, and go to goal. On goals or balls put out of play, the Feeder re-starts play with the next set of attackers and defenders.
Coaching Points:
1. The defenders should look to use the goalkeeper and create a numerical advantage.
2. Look to play the ball out wide. Don’t risk a turnover in the center of the field.
3. If everything closes down, send the ball out of the area. When in doubt, kick it out.

1. Progress to 3v3.
